Manager
Accounting Advisory Services (Finance Transformation)
Role
and responsibilities
1. Lead
multidisciplinary project teams engaged in the successful delivery of a wide
range of Financial Transformation initiatives aligning finance with business
strategy in support of the broader organization s future vision, primarily
focused on transformation enabled by system implementation.
2. Lead
change from within by assisting operational finance and accounting functions which
report to the office of the CFO
3. Assist
in deployment of EPM Solutions to enhance the return on investments in ERP
systems; data warehouse tools and business intelligence capabilities
4. Create
innovative solutions/alliances on automation, predictive analytics and
cognitive learning to extend the traditional role of EPM
5. Access
client s business challenges/needs/gaps and facilitate change in a hands-on
manner by identifying opportunities for efficiencies and improvements through
root cause/diagnostic analysis and develop the future finance strategies
6. Improvement
initiatives analysis include finance process analysis and design, business case
development, solution costing / cost-benefit, benchmarking
7. Create
strategies and blueprints that define end-to-end finance processes (e.g.,
Procure to Pay, Order to Cash, Record to Report) and harness the power of
robotic process automation to accelerate transaction processing
8. Focus
on performance improvement, cost management, activity-based costing, financial
modeling and helping CFOs to assess and improve their finance function
9. Ensure
that any proposed solutions fit for the needs of the client s finance function
in terms of quality, functionality and overall integrity
10. Establish credibility with existing and
new clients by demonstrating subject matter expertise and knowledge in finance
operations, finance strategy, and enterprise performance management
11. Maintain an understanding of
advancements in technology and innovations which are happening across digital,
analytics, the CFO ecosystem, and the broader marketplace
12. Identify and support business
development initiatives; participate in and lead all aspects of the proposal
development process
The
Individual
1. Finance
focused with 7-10 years experience combined in finance and strategic
consulting with minimum of 2 years of experience in finance, accounting or
auditing.
2. Significant
experience in driving and delivering large Finance Transformation projects and/or
ERP implementations as a Functional Consultant
3. Executed
cost and process optimization projects in various industries
4. Deep
understanding of the finance function, operating models, supporting
organization structures, and processes.
5. Expert
knowledge of Financial Reporting & Consolidation, Cost Allocation and Financial
Planning & Analysis (forecasting and budgeting), Regulatory Reporting, etc.
6. Working
expertise in the core accounting processes of: Order-to-Cash; Procure-to-Pay;
Record-to-Report; Fixed Assets; Inventory; Payroll
7. Understanding
of ERP technologies (SAP, Oracle), Reconciliation & Reporting tools (Blackline,
Cognos, Hyperion, OBIEE, Tableau, Fusion) and RPA tools (UIPath, Automation
Anywhere, Blue Prism), etc.
8. Exposure
to business development in consulting (Pre-sales support, proposals, RFP
responses)
9. Possess
strong domain knowledge, understanding of business processes and possible risks
in operations of at least two industry sectors
10. Consistent display of leadership skills
and ability to excel in teams
11. Ability to work under pressure
stringent deadlines and tough client conditions which may demand extended
working hours
12. Willingness to travel for continuous
lon g periods of tim e
13. Demonstrate integrity, values,
principles, and work ethic and lead by example

the role of performance managers for junior staff
2. Actively
involved in training, coaching and mentoring of junior staff
Business
Development
1. Perform
business development lead generation till closure
2. Proactively
does sales-oriented reporting during projects. These would include identifying
possible business opportunities for various practices within KPMG

to solution and offering development
2. Remain
current on new developments in advisory services capabilities and industry
knowledge
3. Participate
in practice initiatives and at times lead such initiatives such as knowledge
management or thought leadership
Qualification
1. Qualified
CA / CPA / equivalent or MBA Finance from premier institutes
2. Bachelor's
degree in Accounting, Business, Finance or BE. Engineering
3. ERP
technology understanding SAP / Oracle
4. Big
4 consulting background is a plus
5. PMP
certifications
