الوصف الوظيفي

وظيفة الغرض:

•Co-ordinates management functions to the Operating Theater,
CSSD and minor OT Zulekha Dubai and Sharjah
•To lead, support and develop the theater staff, providing managerial leadership, ensuring the delivery of the highest standard of care to patients and staff
•To be responsible for ensuring 24-hour cover for the services provided and the skill mix required

الإداري:

1.To identify goals and processes for developing knowledge,
ideas and work practices through training and education
in-services

2.To support and encourage team members to:

3.To monitor and act on sickness and absenteeism according
to the HR policy
4.To ensure all staff are aware and adhere to policies relevant to:

5. To participate in the disciplinary procedure when appropriate
6. To lead on processes pertaining to recruitment and retention

- To act clinically in the scrub role of the hospital operating
Theatres
- To act as clinical expert, being responsible at all times for
ensuring the delivery of quality patient care and safety at all stages through the theatre department, maintaining the highest possible professional standards
- To ensure that audit programmes are in place and
effective and audits/reviews of the departments and their
performance are undertaken and action is taken to address
any issues raised
- To liaise with support team to enable care and treatments
to be correctly carried out in accordance with Zulekha
policies, procedure and guidelines
- To facilitate and ensure that the reception of patients and
their relatives are in a calm, friendly, courteous and
reassuring manner
- To work with the DA and quality to investigate complaints
and/or risks identified and ensure corrective actions are

competencies and training to use the equipment pertinent
to their area of work
- To monitor staff rosters to ensure best utilization of the
agreed manpower levels while maintaining an appropriate
skill mix
- To prevent hospital acquired infections by ensuring that
infection control measures are properly applied by all staff
- To be responsible for managing department stock and
supplies and to ensure stock control staff is trained to
handle it.
