Manager- Programming

Opportunity Responsibilities
The Manager will lead and support specific projects within the Ceremonies & Programming stream of the Events & Entertainment division. Supporting the Ceremonies & Programming Director, they will be responsible for leading the planning of all aspects of the projects delivery, including coordinating with production contractors to ensure that all plans are integrated and communicated with internal FAs to ensure successful implementation.
The main responsibilities of the role include:
- Liaise with the Expo relevant departments, and stakeholders to ensure delivery requirements are planned and agreed for all aspects of the projects;
- Ensure alignment of milestones and deliverables with the overarching department scope of works and that internal reporting processes are met;
- Support the integration with other Events & Entertainment projects, contractors and suppliers;
- Liaise with the relevant departments/FAs, and stakeholder organisations to ensure delivery requirements are planned and agreed for all aspects of the projects;
- Support planning & integration with internal Expo FAs, communicating deliverables and dependencies, agreeing service levels, and ensuring delivery of requirements for the Projects;
- Ensure the Production Company contractor(s) are meeting the centralised monitoring and reporting of milestones and deliverables for the Projects;
- Coordinate with team members to ensure that reporting processes, for milestones, deliverables and reports are disseminated internally as required;
6+ years experience in project management & major events delivery, as well as:
- A Bachelor's educational degree within a relevant field;
- Experience with planning and delivery of large scale Ceremonies and shows;
- Knowledge of Mega Event operational planning and delivery;
- Experience in delivering large, complex programmes of work;
- Ability to develop positive relationships among internal and external stakeholders, peers and senior management;
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and ability to lead a team that supports several internal departments on key issues;
- Displays the highest levels of integrity and commitment;
- Excellent negotiating, communication and interpersonal skills (written and verbal).
