1) Account Management:
-Develops, manages, and monitors client investment for assigned accounts.
-Leads a team of SEO Strategists and operates as senior leader on accounts.
-Introduces Process Development Input, QA and Best Practices Input.
-Ensures client renewals and maintenance/growth of Performics revenue.
-Owns client KPI forecasting process and updates for forecasted results.
-Trains and grows leadership, technical, and management skills of direct reports.
-Supports departmental financial reporting, billing, collections as needed.
-Evaluates performance of direct reports/team.
-Develops internal processes for growth of team.
-Supports with New business pitches/RFP as necessary.
2) Client Leadership:
-Develops and fosters account relationships. Working towards 100% account retention within a defined portfolio of accounts.
-Manages team resources and effectively delegates appropriate responsibilities.
-Advocates across functional areas within client relationships (e.g. IT professionals, marketing/product managers, C-level executives) to develop rapport and deliver complex solutions.
-Prioritizes/refreshes initiatives, projects, and milestones to relentlessly pursue KPIs.
-Ability to methodically forecast client results (KPIs) at engagement start and for renewal.
-Manages strategy development and execution for complex marketing disciplines, such as SEO, conversion optimization, landing page testing, content marketing, forecasting, content investing effectiveness, consumer profiling, customer profitability analysis (lifetime value), and ROI measurement.
-Leverages syndicated digital research (e.g. Euromonitor, ComScore & Hitwise) to benchmark trends and/or manage expectations of forecasted trends.
3) Technical & On-Site:
-To carry out advanced and detailed keyword research to identify the most effective and targeted key phrases for each client s SEO campaigns.
-To produce detailed site technical audits, identify attention areas and provide recommendations to clients on how to fix any site structural issues that might affect SEO rankings.
-Use a variety of analytical tools to assess competitor market place activity and profiles, establishing client share of voice and to spot opportunity for growth and/or promotion.
-Possess a deep understanding of search marketing and what factors may influence client websites, search profiles and performance, and to be able to apply this knowledge to gain best result.
-To carry out objective testing of tools, resources and techniques.
-Feeding into the SEO strategy with recommendations to improve performance and operational efficiency.
-Understanding client s products and services, and feeding into client search marketing campaign and objectives.
-Undertaking technical off-site analysis of client's and competitor websites, developing strategy, documentation and top-level reports.
-Defining best practice strategy & methodology (on-site and off-site); ensuring this is applied to all client campaigns.
-Proactively seek additional training and continuing professional development in order to stay up to date with industry developments, algorithm updates and process changes.
-To be proactive in proposing new SEO campaign ideas.
-To produce detailed technical SEO reports for existing and potential customers, and to present these to the key stakeholders.
-To use a variety of proprietary and 3rd party reporting tools, compile reports and draw insight from client specific, sector specific and industry data.
-To ensure all reports produced are written to a high quality and adhere to Performics brand guidelines.
-To be able to manage upwards appropriately ensuring you have all the information you require to complete tasks, request help and training where necessary and proactively manage deadlines and any workload issues with your manager.
-To provide appropriate communication, consultation, and regular updates to clients and external agencies as and when required, in a language that is easily understood.
-To work proactively with the team to improve working practices where possible.
-To communicate effectively with other team members and provide feedback where necessary.
-To contribute to meetings, whether with clients or internal teams.
-To develop and share knowledge and best practices internally, and externally where appropriate.
-To liaise with third party providers on behalf of Performics and our clients.
