The Human Resources, Workforce and Volunteers department (HRD) is responsible for delivering an exceptional workforce who will deliver an exceptional Expo. HRD includes the following functional areas: Human Resources Operations (HRO), Workforce (WKF), Volunteers (VOL), Internal Communications, Training & Engagement (IET), Emiratization & Expo Academy (EMI).
The Internal Communications, Training & Engagement function will ensure that between now and event time every single person (whether paid, volunteer or contractor) working for Expo 2020 is engaged to a level where they feel an unbreakable connection to Expo 2020 s vision, which inspires passion and the drive and capability to deliver an Exceptional Expo.
Opportunity Responsibilities
The purpose of the Manager Training Delivery is to oversee the facilitation of training sessions for the Expo 2020 event time contractors leading up to and during the event, ultimately ensuring that we are preparing our workforce to deliver an exceptional Expo. As a member of the training team you may also be requested assist in managing general tasks that support us in delivering seamless operations.
Main responsibilities for this role include:
- Oversee the delivery of Event Time Training sessions for contracted, form end-to-end on a daily basis across multiple workforce groups;
- Manage the Training Delivery team responsible for facilitating the Event Leadership training for the contracted workforce;
- Assist the Event Time Training team in tailoring Orientation material to suit the contractor orientation events;
- Work with the Expo 2020 Training Operations to ensure all centers are ready to operate and function to deliver seamless training;
- Develop workforce processes in an efficient manner, to deliver an exceptional experience for every workforce member (particularly the contracted workforce);
- Oversee monitor and report on the Training Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to ensure adherence to our Service Level Agreements (SLAs);
- Work with the Senior Manager Learning & Development to design session and operation plans for event time training delivery;
- Evaluate training materials submitted by Service Providers and providing feedback to uphold quality and consistency.

6+ years of experience in training across the full training cycle, as well as:
- A Bachelor's degree in a related field;
- Strong written and verbal communication skills;
- Demonstrated ability to manage training centers or programs at all levels;
- Demonstrated ability in training delivery;
- Team player with strong people skills;
- Demonstrated ability to deliver training programs at all levels including Leadership training to Director Level;
- Strong Facilitation skills, preferably with training qualification (e.g. MTA/Lego Business etc).
