Job Description
TECHNICAL COMPETENCIES::
Participates in preparing short/long term plans for exploration and field development based on technical and economical support studies. Prepares integrated work schedules such as drilling and workover and well tie-in consistent with facilities major projects and field development activities. Provides technical and commercial advice to development teams to resolve financial and commercial issues relating to plans.
Proficiency with Landmark drilling and planning tools like (DIMS, open well, well plan, well cat, well cost, compass, stress check and casing seat)
Core competency in drilling engineering and drilling operations.
Experience with horizontal and/or multi-lateral well technology.
Developed skills in directional well planning, casing design, and cementing designs for sour environments.
Familiar with completion design and execution.
Thorough understanding of all financial aspects of drilling operations Including budgeting, cost forecasting, and estimation of service company contract values.
Skills
1. Academic Qualification
BS Degree in Engineering (Petroleum, Natural Gas, Chemical, Mechanical) or related discipline is required
2. Minimum Experience & Knowledge & Skills
Minimum of 15 years of field development and asset management experience, required.
