The Design Engineer participates in design activities for non-complex mechanical designs. He closely works with project teams on the development of mechanical designs, including concept designs, schematic designs, detailed designs and tender documents which accommodate the requirements of the client, local authorities, international standards and codes of practice and the requirements of other disciplines.
Qualifications
• Bachelor s Degree in Engineering , Ain Shams , Cairo University , AUC , GUC
Skills
• In depth knowledge of mechanical engineering
• Understanding of international engineering standards and codes
• Good communication and presentation skills
• Good interpersonal skills
• Proficiency in spoken and written English; Arabic is an advantage
• Computer skills: BIM CAD
Experience Required to Execute this Role
Overall Experience
• 5+ years of industry experience in design, preferably in a mechanical design function
Specific Experience
• 5+ years of experience in engineering design in a top tier regional / multinational engineering consultancy firm
• Design all related items to plumbing (Water Supply Drainage LPG Medical gases Fuel systems)
