MTO 1600 Operator - Assembly

Job Description:
To meet production targets by operating plant machinery in an effective and efficient manner, manufacturing high-quality products in line with the production plan and product specifications
To safely and efficiently operate of all manufacturing equipment by understanding and following established operating processes, procedures, workflows and standards
To maximize machine utilisation/reduce lost machine time by troubleshooting basic mechanical systems and making minor repairs using simple hand tools
To maximise machine production/reduce lost machine time by promptly reporting and raising breakdown reports to ensure swift correction of machine breakdowns following consultation with his Shift Supervisor
To promote cost-effectiveness of production by running a small sample trial of the job card, having it checked and approved by Quality Control prior to starting mass production runs
To enable effective and efficient completion of each job by ensuring that all cable and materials requisitions are processed in a proper and prompt manner and that all materials are stored in designated and easily accessible areas
To ensure up-to-date documentation by starting completion of all related documents pertaining to IMS and production while the job is running and by accurately completing daily record sheets, entering the parameters used (e.g. temperatures, settings, materials used)
