Roles and Responsibilities
o Supporting the Pre-Core, Core, Accounting, Var, CVA and MLC batches.
o Assist the service delivery team with design and implementation of new batches according to new requirements.
o Configuring the processing scripts, feeders, stored procedures for various modules and debugging the issues related to it.
o Performing/Monitoring daily/monthly housekeep jobs related to Accounting, Market Data etc.
o Perform ad hoc operational requests such as generating of on demand reports, file transfer, housekeeping activities
o Liaise with vendor to run diagnostics and troubleshooting for EOD issues
o Monitor and tune performance of overall EOD
o Perform sanity checks in MurexUI such as workflows, real time data etc
o Work with DBA`s to troubleshoot performance issues with DB that impact the EOD batches
o Extract Murex reports batches/LRB and share with users.
Desired Candidate Profile
Minimum 5 years of experience managing Murex EOD and batches
Experience working with MUREX 3.1.25
Good understanding of the Murex processing scripts and their sequence for a multi entity configuration
Exposure to Core EOD mandatory, experience in accounting, CVA, MLC preferred,
Good understanding of Murex DataMart batches, execution and configuration
Be able to troubleshoot batch of feeder issues (including overflow and fatal errors/crashes)
Good understanding on MLC and LRB extract and execution
Be able to define workarounds and add hoc solutions to recover batches
Good understanding of daily Murex activities intraday jobs, market data process etc.
Understanding of housekeeping, purge rules and performance tuning
Handling daily incident/service requests raised during Murex EOD for Prod/Non-Prod
Strong understanding of LINUX, python/perl Oracle and SQL.
Experience in Control M, Autosys or other scheduler
