• Design and implement new solutions and improve the resilience of the current environment
• Maximize network performance by monitoring performance, troubleshooting network problems, and outages
• Schedule upgrades and collaborate with network architects on network optimization
• Undertake data network fault investigations in local and wide-area environments
• Secure network systems by establishing and enforcing policies and defining and monitoring access
• Support and administer firewall environments in line with IT security policy
• Upgrade data network equipment to the latest stable firmware releases
• Configure routing and switching equipment, hosted IP voice services and firewalls
• Undertake capacity management and audit of IP addressing and hosted devices within data centers

• Configure firewalls, routers, switches, and WAN accelerators to maximize network efficiency and security

• Good knowledge of Cisco VoIP, audio and video technologies
• In-depth understanding of communication protocols (mainly TCP/IP) and routing protocols (e.g., BGP, OSPF)
• Experience with network diagnostic, monitoring, and analysis
• Solid understanding of network operating systems (Cisco IOS and NX-OS)
• Qualification Bachelor of Computer Science /IT Professional certifications (CCNP, CCVP, CCIE R&S, PCNSE) Experience 4-5 years of relevant work experience as a network administrator/engineer Experience of the following: Palo Alto, Forcepoint, Fortigate Cisco ASA firewalls Cisco switches, routers Cisco Unified Communications Manager, Jabber
• Hands-on experience in Palo Alto, Fortigate, Forcepoint, and Cisco ASA firewalls
• Good exposure to SD-WAN technologies
• Have worked in a cloud environment

o Cisco, HP switches, routers
