As a Nurse, I will fully understand and embrace Six Senses company vision and values and its application in all tasks associated with the host s duty I will adhere to all Six Senses brand standards ensuring successful communication across all levels of the operation.
I will be responsible for conducting accident investigations, investigating the causes of common injuries, maintaining first-aid kits, orders new supplies and disposing out-of-date items safely. I will also assist injured hosts returning to work from medical leave, monitor host exposure to hazardous chemicals, contact hospitals, as necessary, to arrange further treatments, keep up to date with legal and professional changes associated with occupational health and safety.
As a Nurse I will use expertise to ensure organization meets legal requirements, being fully conversant with all health and safety, fire and emergency procedures, managing all medical equipment on a daily, weekly and monthly basis by checking and ensuring the equipment is fit for use, maintaining a high standard of personal hygiene, dress, uniform and body language,
I will behave in a polite and professional manner in any situation where the image or reputation of the resort is represented. I will attend meetings and training as required by the Area Human Resources Director and the Training Manager and ensures that all activities are carried out honestly, ethically and within the parameters of local labor law. I will train hosts in first aid and CPR and be the Medical Team Leader in all medical emergencies. I will also be able to lift up to 45 kilos for brief periods and assist in transporting a patient who weighs 120 kilos. Lastly I will maintain all medical certifications with Continued Education
