Job Description

• Provide highest level of customer engagement through proper feedback mechanism, root cause analysis & timely customer feedback Upgrade Insurance processes & procedures to keep rejection claims below a set limit

• Overall responsibility in implementation of various cost reduction measures thereby directly contributing to the budgeted bottom line
• Monitor the business performance of the hospital (Revenue & Cost) against the budget and ensure that the targets under various heads are met with
• Legal matters if any to be brought to the attention of senior management
• Co-ordinate with HR department in manpower planning, recruitment, reward & recognition, performance appraisals & talent planning
• Responsible for all statutory compliances of hospital and delivery of excellent service quality
• Ensure that all MEP services in hospital run in smooth order
• Ensure that the targets of hospitals are achieved
• Responsible for the business development activity of the hospital in achieving increased growth and top line profitability
• Meet community doctors on a regular basis to increase patient referrals
• Co-ordinate with manager CR to streamline and sign new contracts with corporate
• Coordinate with manager insurance to enhance the insurance business and tariff revisions
• Ensure staff members are adhering to protocols designed to manage all the depts.
• Establish, Recretae or improve SOP for front office etiquettes, routine of billing, admission & discharge procedure, appointments and routine customer care service
• Manage workflow in specific areas which include front office, billing , switch board, transport and MRD unit of the hospital
• Manage and oversee administrative functions to ensure all paperwork was processed efficiently and in a timely manner and met all compliance requirements
• Ensure directives, rules and procedures are communicated to all operation's staff
• Assist the Senior operations manager in planning, directing and coordinating the daily activities of the organization
• Generate several reports related to billing, Doctor’s schedule, daily patient statistics, new registration, patient satisfaction survey, referrals etc
• Supervise MRD unit in its daily work and ensure patients’ records are safely stored as per SOP
• Report areas of concerns and improvement to Manager Admin &Business Development
• Manage staff grievances and patient’s complaints
• Supervise quality activities related to front office such as patient satisfaction survey, routine scheduling of doctors clinic, average time taken for clerical job @ front office/ etc.
• Plan and monitor daily staffing schedules and adjust accordingly to ensure adequate staffing levels that support operational demands and business objectives
• Provide cost-effective care of the highest quality to customer. Introduce and promote new health packages
• Assist Accounts dept. in generating referral incentive details.
• Coordinate Medical Records Meetings preparing minutes and agenda with chief clinical quality officer
• Coordinate with associated business units, Credit and discount parties
• Prepare and send the periodical MIS report to the management on weekly and monthly basis
• Conduct Orientation Program/monthly training programs for existing employees
• Coach, train and mentor direct subordinates and provide career development opportunities through training and quality management activities
