Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Assist ZAK Sales Reps with customer facing conference calls & presentations.
- Architect and Design DELL/EMC Storage Systems.
- Maintain existing active configurations and update as product/price change.
- Work with sales team to identify, gather requirements for solutions, and draft proposals.
- Translate business needs into technical specifications.
- Stay current with new technologies and innovations and recommend adoption of new technologies.
- Maintain certifications relevant to job role.
- Perform technical presentations, Scope(s) of Work, Bill(s) of Material for customers, partners and prospects.
- Assist with the development of formal sales plans and proposals for assigned opportunities.
- Analyze needs of the Sales team and create supporting documentation or tools to better equip the team in the sales.
- Identify and promote ZAK Professional Services.
- Work with other ZAK pre-sales solution architects to expand Storage product sales into solution sales.
Job Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years direct technical presales experience architecting customer solutions.
- Must have solution selling experience.
- Experience with leading storage vendors, such as Dell/EMC, IBM, HP, HDS, NetApp, Cisco, Brocade.
- Experience architecting and designing solutions around DR and BC.
- Knowledge of SAN architecture and implementation and NAS technologies.
- SAN, NAS, Backup (disk and tape), supporting infrastructure.
- Knowledge of Backup and Recovery technologies, including tape and disk products.
- Strong organizational, communication, and consultative experience.
- Self-study and independent work in lab facilities to increase job-related knowledge and skills.
- Strong verbal and presentation skills, with the ability to tailor dialog to targeted audience.
- Creative and self-motivated mindset.
- BSc degree or equivalent work experience.
