Job Purpose
The Product Marketing Manager is responsible for developing go-to-market strategies and plans for several products within the Alef Education portfolio. This includes developing key messages and positioning for the products and communicating the features and benefits of products to customers. Responsibilities include handling competitive market research on current trending products, establishing timescales for upcoming products, influence pricing, and branding, guiding sales teams, developing key messaging and market positioning around products.
The Product Marketing Manager will present our products in ways that will strengthen our brand and boost sales. Bringing our portfolio of products to market and overseeing its overall success. Focused on understanding and marketing to customers. Drive demand and usage of the product, including writing positioning and messaging. This role will focus on the ability to function between product development and increase brand awareness. Also, to effectively allocate company resources to maximize collaboration, efficiency and creativity in building and maintaining favorable and consistent brand image and corporate identity. This role is a bridge between Product and Marketing and will be responsible for the sales success of the products.

Researching and studying the company s products and their benefits for users
Developing effective product marketing strategies and plans
Working with the design team and other teams to promote products
Translate technical details into benefits for the user
Follow and analyze market trends to position products
Develop product marketing strategies (pricing, advertising, product launching)
Craft compelling messages across marketing channels (landing pages, ad campaigns)
Obtain insights into customers usage of current products, untapped opportunities and buyer personas, through interviews, surveys, focus groups and sales data.
Work with various teams (service delivery, content, product) to implement strategies
Test marketing product features, releases and ad copy
Evaluate projects using relevant KPIs and feedback from existing and prospective customers
Support in market analysis and research to identify and act on market trends and opportunities
Build on product messaging that sets our products apart from others in the market to give them a unique selling point
Agree on timelines and deadlines for the development of new features with product department, technology or other departments
Use market research data to establish product pricing
Create content such as case studies, videos, website copy and blog posts
Speak and present about products to both external and internal audiences
Test new goods and products
Research competitor offerings
Education, Experience and Required Skills
Educational Qualification
Bachelor degree in a related field
Experience
Minimum 5 years Product Marketing experience in the EdTech industry
Experience working with and analyzing market research data & reports
Experience working with marketing projects and promoting business initiatives
Experience in planning digital marketing campaigns, including web, SEO/SEM, email, social media, and display advertising
Measuring and reporting on the performance of all digital marketing campaigns
Background in design and copywriting is a plus
Experience in market analysis
Familiar with product marketing tactics (e.g. integrated marketing campaigns)
Working knowledge of web analytics tools (Google Analytics, WebTrends)
Must be skilled at troubleshooting and problem-solving; strong ability to facilitate self-reliant decision making within teams
Highly developed interpersonal and leadership skills
Ability to organize work, initiate and complete projects in a collaborative manner
Ability to demonstrate handling matters requiring diplomacy, sensitivity and confidentiality
Communicate the vision and value of new products to the sales team and develop sales tools that facilitate the selling process
Experience in planning and participating in the launch of new features and products.
Experience in Briefing the press and PR teams about new products and conducting demonstrations
Essential Skills
The ability to collaborate with multiple teams and departments across the business
The ability to speak and write to a high standard is crucial. You will frequently have to present the products and write engaging copy, telling the story of products, for various marketing channels.
Gaining insight into customer needs and experiences. Analysis of data, surveys and customer interviews will be part of this mix and you need to be well acquainted with these techniques.
Problem-solving; ability to drive toward results, overcoming obstacles, bottlenecks and other risks as required
Relationship Builder; ability to quickly establish credibility, influence and trust with other team members in order to better drive results
Deadline oriented; ability to articulate priorities and revise plans to meet tight deadlines
Project Management; familiar with various project management practices and tools with the ability to implement and customize to the needs of the team and/or project
Keen eye for detail
Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills in English & Arabic
