Position Summary:
HE MUST HAVE 10 YEARS LOCAL EXPERIENCE IN QATAR AND WELL AWARE OF QATAR STANDARDS FOR CONSTRUCTION 2014.
We are looking for an experienced Project Manager to plan and supervise a wide range of construction projects from start to finish. You will organize and oversee construction procedures and ensure they are completed in a timely and efficient manner. An excellent Project Manager must be well-versed in all construction methodologies and procedures and able to coordinate a team of professionals of different disciplines to achieve the best results. The ideal candidate will have an analytical mind and great organizational skills. The goal will be to ensure all projects are delivered on time according to requirements and without exceeding budget.

Role Description:
Key Responsibilities/KRAs/KPIs: 1. Collaborate with engineers, surveyors, technical team etc. to determine the specifications of the project
2. Negotiate contracts with external vendors to reach profitable agreements
3. Obtain permits and licenses from appropriate authorities/consultants/contractor.
4. Determine needed resources (manpower, equipment and materials) from start to finish with attention to budgetary limitations
5. Plan all construction operations and schedule intermediate phases to ensure deadlines will be met
6. Acquire equipment and material and monitor stocks to timely handle inadequacies
7. Hire contractors and other staff and allocate responsibilities
8. Evaluate progress and prepare detailed reports for management on weekly basis
9. Ensure adherence to all health and safety standards and report issues
10. Preparation of Procurement plan as per the timeline received from procurement dept to procure the material
11. Managing of cash flow in coordination with Accounts dept as per site condition
12. Making sure that monthly invoices should be done by 30th of every month
13. Direct and oversee construction projects from conception to completion
14. Coordinate subcontractors and the construction team to meet contractual conditions of performance.
15. Prepare external and internal reports relating to job status, daily progress, estimates, and deliverables.
16. Communicate with the responsible parties to ensure quality construction exceeds company standards and proper industry techniques and processes are utilized, while ensuring the client’s needs and wants are efficiently met.
17. Review projects on a daily basis to ensure quality construction standards exist and estimates remain within budget.
18. Supervise construction projects to ensure they are completed on time and exceed the customer’s requirements.
19. Work under deadlines in a fast-paced environment to plan and coordinate all aspects of the building process from hiring contractors to working with engineers, architects, and vendors.


Team Organization:
Reporting to: Chief Project Manager
Team Structure: The project manager will manage a team of 50 people along with handling the sub-contractors

Working Hours:
12 hours/daily
