Job summary:
- Be responsible for the timely placement of purchase orders and cash purchases with petty cash. Source quotes for all the Local Plant related items which are to be purchase against LPOs.
- Be responsible for all cash purchases through petty cash. Source quotes for all the Production, Quality and Plant related items (local or international) which are to be purchased against LPOs. Be responsible for sourcing items for Non raw material and get quotes for scrap related items. Supervise purchase department driver.

Principle Accountabilities:

Responsible for Petty Cash Purchases
- Be responsible for the timely placement of purchase orders and all cash purchases with petty cash
- Negotiate and buy the best possible items in the market for all cash items requirements
- Maintain petty cash and keeping sufficient cash at all times. Submit invoices on time for reimbursement.

Responsible for Sourcing Quotes related to Plant
- Source quotes for all local & international Plant and Non raw material which are to be purchase against LPOs.
- Negotiate and preparing the comparative statements
- Processing the purchase orders and submitting advance payment PO copies to finance for payment process
- Follow up with suppliers to ensure timely deliveries and with finance for payment follow ups

Supervising Purchase Driver
- To monitor the purchase department driver
- Ensure that the driver is aware of daily purchases, and maintain the most economical route

Education, Experience and Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree
- Experience in buying
- Excellent written and spoken English
- Business language in written and spoken
- Attention to detail
- Purchasing knowledge
- Communication and bargaining skills
- Negotiation skills
- Market knowledge
