A) Job Mission:
Improve and sustain the QHS of facilities by facilitating, monitoring, and ensuring actual implementation of the QHS management system on the floor and provide the guidance where needed
B) Job Responsibilities:
To provide QHS advice/guidance/coaching to the team using different approaches (direct and support them to implement and comply with all QHS requirements in a sustainable manner.
To assist the QHS Manager in the implementation, development and monitoring of the OH&S policies and procedures.
Complete regular checks and inspections and prepare related reports.
Conducts behavioral QHS observations and provide support to develop site QHS.
Co-ordinate the implementation or conduct QHS trainings as identified by QHS manager.
Continually develops effective communication media for communication at all levels of the business through weekly bulletin and notice boards.
Monitor compliance on the floor of the PPEs, KSBs, SWPs and SOPs and ensure addressing the immediate required actions to correct situation and escalate when/if needed.
Update QHS logs/registers and file and control of all QHS records.
Active participation in the risk assessments, accident investigations, communication, planning, Reward and Recognition (R&R), Emergency Preparedness and Response Plan (EPRP), monitoring, inspections and audits as assigned by the QHS MS or the QHS Manager.
Follow up with departments to ensure QHS reports are done in due time including NM reports.
Follow up with all departments on the completion of Corrective/Preventive Actions (CAPA) completion and provide support where necessary.
Recognize and embrace positive behaviors and practices.
To implement, sustain and participate in the continual improvement of the QHS Management System (MS) at area of responsibility in accordance to the legislations and relevant QHS standards.
