Main Role (Overall Accountability):
A Relationship Manager is responsible for business development and customer relationship management for the Priority Banking business in a designated area comprising multiple branches. This is not a branch role. The Relationship Manager has a bigger role of managing Key Relationships in a designated area of the Region.
Principal Accountabilities:
Sales/Business Development
Achieve monthly sales targets for key bank products (new deposits, loans, new to bank customers, Bancassurance, investments etc.) as allocated by the department/supervisor.
New customer acquisition based on sales targets
Advice customer on their banking relationship to increase their total relationship size with the bank by suggesting various products which suit his/her needs regularly (cross selling).
Monitor each customer s product details for cross selling and efficient and effective service.
Relationship Management
Manage relationship with 150-200+ Priority Banking clients. Should be able to handle all issues related to customers and act as the single point contact for the customers entire relationship with the Bank.
Complete daily customer contact targets and cover existing customers at least once in 60 days.
Keep customers informed of new products, services and benefits offered by the bank.
Meet customers outside the bank regularly
Service
Provide personalized service for all types of customer transactions including meeting the customers outside the bank to collect instructions or deliver the requirements.
Resolve customer queries within the given time frame without escalation.
Document activities, contacts/calls made, meetings, follow-through action and results achieved as per MIS requirements for the role.
Engage in periodic portfolio performance review with the reporting authority and Head Office Staff
Personnel Specifications::
Education : University Graduate/ Diploma
Minimum 3- 5 years of frontline customer faced sales and service experience.
Strong sales and service orientation with good networking and relationship Management skills.
Ability to earn and maintain the confidence of clients and to work independently with high self-motivation to achieve targets;
Ability to increase financial product knowledge;
Excellent communication skills. Ability not only to communicate with team members but also to build a strong relationship with different branches within his/her region
