We are looking for Sales & Administration – Manager - Shipping

• Responsible for Administration and Sales for shipping and freight forwarding Operations.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Securing new customers, maintaining & developing existing accounts.

• Highly developed sense of integrity and commitment to customer satisfaction.

• Demonstrated passion for excellence with respect to treating and caring for customers.

• Ability to communicate clearly and professionally, both verbally and in writing.

• Can handle complaints and unpleasant customers.

• Has a pleasant, patient and friendly attitude.

• Strong detail orientation and communication/ listening skills

• To achieve given revenue and/or profit targets.

• To undertake planned regular daily client visits.

• To identify, target and secure new clients and thus to bring new profitable business on a consistent basis.

• Manage existing clients and attend to their rate requests, queries, complaints etc.

• To liaise between client and customer service/operations for smooth handling of shipments.

• To prepare and submit given reports with set periodicity and as per the formats provided.

• To keep oneself and the management updated on the relevant market and competition information.

• To build business relations with the carriers to procure better rates and desired service.

• To participate in special sales drive as and when planned by the sales head.

• To be aware of the company's health & safety policy and carry our your work in accordance with its requirements. To comply with all company policies & procedures along with other duties as reasonably requested.

• Work proactively towards the development of new segments and leads in line with the approved sales strategy and plan of action and in support of the sales budget/targets.

• Maintain and develop professional relations with customers and prospects in line with the corporate identity and brand image.

• Effectively participate in events and exhibitions to expand the company’s network and maintain professional relationships with existing and potential clients in line with the corporate identity and brand image.

• Customer service and upselling for exciting customers

• Relevant experience from freight forwarding, shipping, logistics or similar.

• Expedites the daily activities of all operational functions ensuring client satisfaction is successfully achieved and company policies adhered to with the goal of maximizing profitability for the company

• Supervises warehouse sort operations processing international import and export shipments

• Supervises back office staff, responsible for monitoring flights, communicating and updating the network and ensuring contingencies are deployed when necessary

• بكالوريوس/ ماجستير في إدارة الأعمال أو ما يعادلها
• خبرة لا تقل عن 3 سنوات في صناعة الشحن والبيع لأنواع مختلفة من الخدمات
o استيراد / تصدير Air & Sea
o التخليص الجمركي
س النقل البري
o 3PL
o أي خدمات أخرى تتعلق بالخدمات اللوجستية.
