The position holder is responsible for the development and Execution of sales plan for different category of livestock, keeping in mind the market and customer requirements.
Responsible for driving sales for the region/ branches for both corporate & retails customers buy building and managing good relationship with corporate and retail customers.
Duties and Responsibilities
Responsible for achieving budgeted sales of Company s different categories of livestock breeds from regional / branch farm level in the Sultanate of Oman.
Grow the livestock trading business by identifying different animals breeds categories, key accounts management.
Develop livestock products specs, Animal s health certificate and Company leaflet / brochures with corporate or retails customers for accepting the products quality for sales.
Direct Animals Welfare & Distribution/Logistics Responsibility
Ensure that all animal welfare activities at branch farm level are taken care for maintaining a stock of healthy animals for sale.
Ensure security of branch farm and animals are safe at branch farm.
Accountable for managing all sales order delivery through own transportation or outsourced logistics services company.
Manage own transportation maintenance through logistics officer.
Develop budget for all logistics related, Fodder, Medicines, Water and others operational expenses and share with Chief Commercial Officer.
Ensure Availability of livestock at Branch Farm
Coordination with Farm Manager at Plant for managing Branch Farm stock level of
animals as per sales plan / forecast.
Review and send livestock stock inventory, any dead animals or deviated inventory of livestock reports to plant & Corporate head office for record with reasons and justifications.
Develop working relations with personnel at various levels in order to communicate livestock availability, logistics information, breeds specifications, and pricing as needed.
Develop Sales Contracts for the sales of livestock with the details like breeds, description, quantity and price, delivery destination etc.
Customer Service and Support
Ensure proper resolution of customer complaints or problems in coordination with the customer service team.
Log the customer complaint and send it to Customer service officer to lodge the customer complaints and performing the CAPA (corrective action & preventative action) for customer feedback and satisfaction.
Ensure proper management of all administrative activities of branch farm.
Ensure all direct animals sales amount are deposited into company accounts through admin assistant /cashiers.
Ensure staff deputation to meet scheduled of Sales Targets
Ensure the availability of an optimized workforce in terms of quantity and quality
Contribute to the team, letting others know information that may be useful or important
Creates a positive work environment
Participate in management and supervisory meetings when required.
Responsible for all people management related activities for the team.
Give Importance to Safety, Health quality and Environment improvement etc.
Ensures all HSE regulations are followed and up to date as per Oman standards.
Liaison with Customer service specialist / Corporate sales office for SHE regulatory related laws for compliance.
Understanding of B2B & B2C livestock Sales in Oman
Knowledge of the dynamics of the consumer -livestock management industry, must have a solid understanding of customer-focused and fact-based selling.
Basic understanding of animal welfare
Excellent sales and customer service skills.
Ability to handle both corporate and retail customers.
Knowledge of logistic and distribution management of livestock.
Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
High level of written and verbal communication skills, organizational planning, teamwork, analytical reasoning and adaptability.
Must possess a valid driver s license.
