Job Mission:
The primary role of Sales Officer is to seek out new clients by networking, cold calling, advertising or other means of generating interest from potential clients. The incumbent act as a key point of contact between an organization and its clients. Sales Officer is responsible in increasing company s growth and revenue through sales maximization.
Roles and Responsibilities:
• Provide support to Manager Sales in preparing the budget for sales activities
• Assist in preparing marketing and sales presentation
• Organize sales visits
• Liaise with existing clients
• Meet sales goals as set by Continuing Education Center
• Represent the college at trade exhibitions, events and demonstrations
• Collaborate with the marketing department to ensure that the company is reaching its target audience.
• Identify and attend exhibitions, promotional events, conferences and other business functions to keep abreast of developments in the marketplace, to find potential new business, and to promote and market organization s solutions
• Submit the all promotional material (print & online) for Continuing Education Center programs to the Manager Sales for further review and approval
• Up to date about the information on programs in Continuing Education Center
• Provide support to Manager Sales in preparing effective business leads and opportunities conversions
• Provide support to Manager Sales for the projects from start to end including approaching clients, proposing solutions based on their needs, closing the deals etc.
• Provide support to Manager Sales in preparing short and medium-term marketing and sales strategies
• Conduct market research on competitive price, scholarship and discounts
• Use negotiating skills and creative selling abilities to close on business and negotiate contracts
• Assist the Manager Sales in developing collaborative partnerships with the business community, educational institutions, university departments and state/federal agencies to promote training
• Provide support to Manager Sales in creating product portfolios for Technical and Vocational Education and training programs considering global Industry verticals and horizontal service offerings
Academic Qualifications:
Bachelor s degree in Business Administration, Business Management, Marketing or related field is preferred.
Experience Qualifications:
3-5 years of business development and/or sales experience required
