B&S is a Dutch international FMCG exporter Our headquarters are based in Rotterdam and all of our exportation activities begin their journey there. Our Dubai office is our flagship international office and it serves multiple international markets such as the African continent. Our African team is growing and we're currently looking for an account assistant.

You will be given several African clients in Africa for which you will export various FMCG products. Your overarching role is their complete satisfaction in order to ensure business continuity and growth with each account.

Your role will be to:

1. Build strong relationship with current clients by putting in place outstanding services

ü Issue timely proposals and competitive quotes

ü Respond to client immediately via email, phone or text.

ü Generate new orders by always calling client to follow up on stock replenishment

ü Strengthen your quarterly pipeline of orders by calling clients ahead of time and organize accordingly

ü Make sure orders are delivered at a world-class standard, both in terms of time and accuracy.

ü Make sure customers are extremely satisfied with our services at all times

ü Call and email clients to follow up on payment

ü Shoot weekly ‘’special’’ offers to our client database in order to generate more offers.

2. Coordinate with support team in Dubai to make sure orders are going smoothly

3. Communicate with different departments in our head office (Rotterdam):

ü Purchase department: Check stock inventory and inform them to replenish stock timely

ü Finance department: check client’s statement of account + payment status

ü Documentation department: for certificates (certificate of origin, health certificate etc)

ü Logistic department: coordinate freight costs and container booking

ü Operation team: make sure containers are loaded fully and optimally in the central warehouse in Rotterdam

4. You will also be assisting the Sales Manager and Sales Executives in booking flights and arranging visas

5. You will be assisting the Sales Manager in planning interviews for hiring new Sales Representatives.

If the role of Sales Assistant is done well, you will establish a strong relationship with our clients and your accounts will grow by generating more orders. The successful candidate will be able to evolve towards an “Salest Executive” role before moving up to an “Sales Manager” position within the company.

HERE IS THE PROFILE WE’RE LOOKING FOR:

· Your customer service skills are next to none and you have a strong ability to use diplomacy to convince others.

· You’re meticulous, process driven and well-organized

· You love to find solutions to problems and you do not need to always ask your manager what to do.

· You’re not afraid of hard work, even if it means working outside normal hours. You get things done no matter what.

· You’re experienced in FMCG international trade (a BIG plus)

· You’re very strong in Excel

· You’re perfectly fluent in English (written and spoken), French is a plus

· You’ve shown stability in your current and past roles (tenure)

HERE IS WHAT WE ARE NOT LOOKING FOR:

- Someone who needs to be micromanaged and be reminded constantly what to do

- Someone who can’t find solutions by themselves.

- Need to be flexible with work timings (_This a demanding job that requires a lot of flexibility in terms of hours since there is a time difference between countries and emergencies usually need to be handled quickly)_

- strong spoken English language skills+ French will be advantageous

- Someone with no sense of customer service.
