Carries out various duties related to the Company’s Learning, career development and talent management strategies, policies, procedures and programs. This includes career progression and development processes, design and delivery of training programs, organizing internship programs.

Main Duties and Responsibilities
Learning & Development
• Participates in the design, vendor selection and/or customization of in‐house trainings and speaker sessions as assigned by line manager.
• Researches all internal and external information sources to establish learning requirements and content, including consultation with subject matter experts within and external to the Company
• Participates in developing and maintaining relationship with all external suppliers relevant to learning, development and talent processes.
• Validates all learning materials prior to release of programs to ensure that all defined learning objectives are targeted and met for all assigned training programs.
• Designs and implements efficient learning‐related communication and execution tools for easy access and increasing volume of staff development activities.
• Performs thorough market research and makes recommendations for public courses that cater to the training needs. Responsible for reviewing all internship submissions, interviewing candidates and for organizing internship programs.
• Participates in meetings with potential vendors to assess their offers and in internal meetings with Company departments to be aware of their current training needs and requirements.
• Creates, composes, and edits administrative correspondence and documentation (including emails, memos, training related communications and invites).

Talent Management
• Participates in the delivery, administration and evaluation of talent programs. Reviews and assesses promotion cases as assigned by line manager.
• Participates in the development of tools and processes for assessing, reviewing and developing Emirati talent at Grade 15 and below. Participates in the monitoring and administration of Individual Development Plans (IDPs) for UAE Nationals in assigned department;
• Monitors employees’ progress during the course of their IDPs through regular progress reporting.
• Participates in the preparation of development programs for Emirati fresh graduates & professionals in conjunction with the line managers; identifies common core training programs/courses required for each program and ensures timely procurement of such requirements.
• Supports the business in the design and implementation of effective orientation programs for Emirati hires. Researches and keeps up to date with market best practice and new trends in talent management initiatives.

Generic
• Responsible for individual tasks requiring logistics and coordination with other Company. Departments (IT, GS in particular), monitoring and executing process of applications and registration of Company staff for internal and external programs.
• Participates in defining and monitoring training activities which are then captured in the functional training budget.
• Monitoring accuracy and timeliness of data in the unhouse system, database and tracking systems and sourcing and providing feedback contributing to L&D related processes.
• Maintains and monitors L&D related reports and ongoing changes and /or ad hoc events as assigned by line manager. Carries out daily tasks and responds to requests received from HR Helpdesk.
• Assists in the training of less experienced colleagues and interns in the HR Division. Participates in projects undertaken by HR Division in the capacity of team member. Carries out other similar or related duties as assigned by line manager.

ملخص المرشح المطلوب

Education
Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant discipline (essential).
Professional membership with CIPD, SHRM etc. (preferable)

Experience: At least 6+ years of HR experience in financial services industry.

Technical Expertise / Skills / Knowledge
• Skilled in the use of personal computers and related software applications.
• Good English & Arabic communication skills (spoken & written): Ability to compose and edit written materials with little to no input / redaction from line manager.
• Is familiar with the business terminology used in investment management.
• Projects a positive image of the HR Division in all his/her dealings with Company staff, visitors, candidates etc. by being polite, courteous, friendly and patient.
• Executes assigned duties with diligence and tact and keeps information strictly confidential. Ability to gather financial and non‐financial data, compile information and prepare reports. Good project management skills.
• Records and database maintenance skills.
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
