Role Overview
Provide electrical engineering leadership across design, development, maintenance, and assurance activities for oil & gas operations. Support the Project Manager in governing deliverables to the required quality and schedule, ensuring compliance with regulations, safety standards, and process safety management.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the Project Manager in progressing, governing, and stewarding project deliverables to quality and timeline.
• Lead design and development of electrical control systems for oil & gas operations; ensure regulatory and safety compliance.
• Specialize in maintenance and troubleshooting of electrical equipment in oil & gas environments.
• Conduct risk assessments and hazard analyses; implement mitigation strategies.
• Prepare technical reports, procedures, and documentation.
• Apply process safety management to identify and mitigate operational risks.
• Develop Performance Standards for Safety Critical Systems/Elements (SCE).
• Ensure maintainable electrical SCEs have effective assurance tasks with efficient frequencies.
• Identify and verify all electrical SCE equipment (onshore and offshore).
• Develop and improve equipment strategies in SAP/Meridium.
• Prepare and implement Preventive Maintenance Change Requests (PMCRs) and coordinate with RCM to deploy strategies in SAP.
• Collaborate with SMEs to develop Performance Standards and Equipment Strategies for Barrier Management projects.

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Science, majoring in Electrical Engineering.

Experience

• Minimum 8 years' relevant experience in the Oil & Gas industry.
• Hands-on experience with SAP and Meridium.
• Experience overseeing installation and commissioning of electrical equipment.
