We are looking for Senior Multi-Disciplined QC Inspectors (Welding + Coating and Electrical + Instrumentation)

Duties and Responsibilities
 Comply with Company HSE standards and lifesaving rules. Reinforce the Company HSE requirements to the colleagues / Sub-contractors / Construction Contractors.
 Assist Project Engineers, CSRs, Construction Supervisors & static equipment Inspectors in all construction inspection activities, i.e. mainly in welding, NDE, testing, coating & painting, welding procedures and welder qualifications, independent quality integrity verification and documentation (test packs & quality plans) reviews & approval.
 Review detailed quality and manufacturing plans for each order and confirm key quality control items and hold points including NDT and fabrication procedures
 Monitor implementation of Construction Contractor’s quality control plans / ITPs, procedures and work instruction. Verify Construction Contractor’s records of calibration, inspection & test equipment.
 Ensure that the welding activities carried out by construction and maintenance Contractors are performed to the Company standards, specifications and Contract / PO requirements
 Witnessing of welding procedure qualification tests to the Company’s specification including hydrostatic testing operations
 Witness welders qualification, issue respective cards and maintain qualification records
 Conduct routine surveillance, inspections on the activities involving welding, painting, materials, bend’s dimensional inspection, etc., including witness/review NDE / Hydrostatic testing results and review of test packs. Produce inspection reports.
 Assist and or participate in quality & HSE audits and other inspection as applicable.
 Monitor /report fabrication includes; welding performance; material review; NDT report review; radiographic film review; dimensional checks; witness hydro-tests; verify painting quality; review test packs, equipment. Witness hold and witness points as per the plan
 Maintain adequate files on all inspection issues and administer the Non – Conformance Reports until resolution, completion and acceptance.
 Ensure that the status of the works is known, documentation is prepared and information provided to the Company Site Representative on completed work and all quality aspect of the works.
 Carry out regular verification inspections and report on these. Witness and/or monitor the hydrostatic testing. Raise Non-Conformance and rejection/acceptance/release of materials delivered to the works.
 Maintain database and feedback on Construction Contractor’s performance.

متطلبات العمل
 HNC أو HND أو الدراسات العليا أو ما يعادلها في الهندسة الميكانيكية أو هندسة اللحام أو المعادن أو التدريب الحرفي المناسب وشهادة التجارة.
 لحام فحص التأهيل ، (CSWIP 3.1 أو AWS -- CWI أو ERS أو ما يعادلها)
 معرفة جيدة بتقنيات NDT ويجب أن تمتلك تفسير الفيلم الإشعاعي، UT، PT، MT (ASNT المستوى الثاني أو PCN أو ما يعادلها) المؤهلات
 Painting Inspection Qualification (BGAS/ERS 2 or NACE or equivalent)
 Knowledge of HDPE and GRE construction and inspection.
 At least eight (8) years experience in inspection, welding, radiographic interpretation, fabrication, construction and maintenance in onshore Oil & Gas or Petrochemical industries.
 Good experience in review and approval of Material certificates, NDE, Painting, Welding procedures (CS & CRA) and welder qualification;
 Experience of qualification of welders and welding procedures.
 Knowledge of the plant equipment or material to be inspected. Familiar with mechanical testing (e.g. tensile, hardness, impact, CTOD) and metallurgical testing (e.g. grain size, microstructure, macrostructure and chemical analysis) in accordance with ASTM, ISO and/or API standards.
 Experience of working to and fully conversant with international codes (ANSI/ASME, ASTM, API, BS, MSS) used in oil and gas industry, CoPs, PRs, SPs, GUs (PDO documents), including Shell DEPs.
 Able to review and interpret technical requirements in Contracts/Purchase Orders.
 Must be organized and able to multi-task.
 Strong interpersonal skills and is ability to work well with people at all levels of the Project.
 Strong trouble shooting and analytical skills.
 Should be able to use computer and programs (email, word processing and spreadsheets as a minimum) for general business applications.
 Written and oral communication skills with both individuals and groups. Read, write and speak fluent English.
 Willing to travel occasionally if required.
