Keen to add additional members to our existing team.

Job Purpose
• Responsible for the processing of GL transactions (Journal Vouchers).
• Assist the Team Lead - GA with team and workload management, conduct data and process analysis, and performs activity level work as needed.
• Participate in and supervise projects related to process and efficiency improvements

Key Responsibilities
• Manage day-to-day activities of the Finance GL team.
• Ensure cross functional support among towers, in the and at external touch points with other functions
• Ensure key Performance Indicators are met and in line with GA objectives

Policy formulation for purchasing and GL
• Provide support to Team Lead – GL & FA on maintaining the master data on chart of accounts
• Participate in the continuous development and improvement of business procedures and knowledge to ensure optimum use of available resources.

Inter-company reconciliation
• Should be able to prepare Inter-company reconciliation entry based on instructions on the documents.
• Ensure Open items are resolved;
• Follow up with Oversea BUs to get SOA.

Journals
• Ensure accurate and timely recording of Journals
• Prepare and analyze monthly Overhead accruals;
• Ensure Journals are passed within predefined SLA

Period End Closing
• Assist the shared services in processing of period end adjustment entries
(e.g., accruals, currency conversions, etc.)
• Interact with various departments and create necessary provisions
• Report financial performance accurately
• Adhere to instructions and timetables set by Corporate Finance
• Have the period end reports reviewed and signed-off by Finance leadership

Statutory & Regulatory Reporting
• Ensure that information is submitted in a timely and accurate manner for budget variance analysis
• Review Notes to the accounts enclosed in the Statutory and Regulatory Statements
• File Statutory & Regulatory accounts to local authorities – GCC licenses

Management reporting and analysis
• Ensure timely preparation of Balance sheet reviews
• Resolving open items on timely basis
• Help Team Lead in completing Balance sheet reviews

External Audits
• Help the Team Lead – GL & FA Operations with external audit
• Review and ensure accuracy and timely delivery of information to External Auditors


KPIs
• Number of improvements initiated during the year
• Timely completion of Audit
• Resolving open items on timely basis
• Achieving 100% SLA
• Quality of Balance sheet schedules
• Quality of monthly accrual Journals

ملخص المرشح المطلوب

Academic Qualification
• Graduate or post graduate in Finance
• Fully or partly qualified from a recognized professional Institute such as CFA, ICWA, CMA etc.
• CA, ACCA (Preferred)

Work Experience
• 4-6 years of work experience in General Accounting (Finalization of monthly books)
• 1-3 years of experience in FMCG/Retail domain + Audit Assurance experience from any reputed firm

Business Skills •
Good understanding of the FMCG/Retail sector
• Strong Knowledge of accounting principles
• Ability to confirm a high quality level for the AP/AR/CM sub processes

Technical Skills
• Advanced excel spreadsheet knowledge
• Excellent knowledge in Oracle ERP, especially in Oracle Oracle GL & FA and Project Costing module with clear understanding of charts of accounts, General Ledger (GL) and sub-ledgers

Personal Skills
• Strong communication skills to interact with BUs and within shared services
• Professional & positive attitude with a willingness to learn and drive improvements and efficiency
• Ability to work on a team
• Analytical skills, ability to identify and resolve problems
• Innovation / Automation
