Urgently required for an automobile spare parts trading company dealing in heavy vehicles ( Trucks & Trailers )male Senior Quality Control Engineer having experience of minimum 5 years in the same industry . responsibilities include :
Creating and maintaining the Company's Quality Standards; develop, implement and maintain
the Company's quality documentation, such as quality procedures, reports etc
2. Establishing, implementing and maintaining the quality awareness throughout the various
departments
3. Responsible for continual improvement activities to enhance the products and the environment;
through training and work instructions
4. Builds relationships internally with department managers and technical team leaders
5. Liaise with managers and operators to ensure the smooth introduction of new products and
processes and for reporting and reducing quality issues
6. Work with cross-functional teams to generate Manufacturing Inspection Test Plans that ensures
good quality products are produced
7. Inspect to ensure that products and processes comply with requirements, using established
engineering techniques
8. Ensure all quality data is captured
9. Conduct audits, creating audits finding reports and determine proper corrective and preventive
actions
10. Analyse the root causes and implement corrective actions for processes or parts that have
concerns
11. Analyse customer warranty returns and implement corrective and preventive plans/actions
12. Responsible for organising and managing the activities of receiving and outgoing quality functions
13. Continuously improving Quality procedures
14. Ensure quick resolution of supplier quality failures, and implement corrective and preventive
actions, through working with Purchasers and Department Managers
15. Ensure supplier assurance and if necessary perform quality audits
16. Preparation of QA reports
17. Any other reasonable duties.
Qualifications in Mechanical and Production Engineering
2. Previous experience in a Production Engineering environment and in a Quality / Inspection role
3. Must be able to show a good knowledge of SPC and its applications
