Responsible to support the Card Business Systems function within IT with the objective of ensuring that all cards system related new projects, new implementations, enhancements, day-to-day issues are carried out with maximum efficiency, security and control in accordance with the agreed service standards and safeguard the financial interests of Cards Business.
Detailed Roles and Responsibilities
Oversees the day-to-day progress of credit card projects / BAU issues and escalates to Manager Cards & ATM any critical issues that may arise
Ensures project completion as per schedule and budget
Negotiates with IT vendors and suppliers and handles critical issues in consultation with the Manager Cards & ATM
Undertake and complete other important ad-hoc assignments.
Liaise with payment Schemes for Card Issuing and POS Acquiring projects
To ensure proper documentation are completed and submitted on time for Tender processing, as and when required.
To ensure project plans are updated and submitted to the Internal Project Management Office
To ensure internal project meetings are held with required business and IT stake holders till project closure.
To ensure compliance requests from Payment Schemes (Visa and Mastercard) are applied within their specified timelines.
To plan, schedule and execute the User Acceptance testings.
To ensure project governance is followed throughout the Project Life Cycle.
To liaise with Visa and Master card for Project Implementations.
To liaise with Credit Card System, ATM switch, Other vendors for new projects and other technical issues.
Technical support for Credit card related systems used in the bank.
Liaise with system vendors and payment association to resolve day-to-day system problems and issues reported by Card Centre Users.
Responsible to support the Project Management function to ensure smooth implementation of new systems initiatives such as EMV, Credit & Debit Cards, New Product Launch etc., systems enhancements & day-to-day system issues.
VAP Production Support & MIP Support-Co ordinations with VISA & MC enquiries.
Co-ordinate with internal and external parties to ensure that payment system compliance upgrades are tested and implemented within deadlines.
Track and monitor system / operational issues with IT Department, External system vendors and Payment Associations until resolution.
Provide system support for POS Infrastructure ( NAC, TMS and MOXA server) and liaise with vendor for POS application updates.
Provide system support for Loyalty systems and liaise with vendor for POS and system enhancements.
Work on system change request as per request from Business user department.
Provide system support for AMEX card acquiring. Co-ordinate with vendor for new releases and updates from AMEX
Responsible to prepare system acceptance test scripts with the users and conduct a first level UAT to ensure that systems have been delivered according to user requirements.
Monitoring of credit card systems and ensure services are up and running.
Certification with payment association as and when required for projects.
Prepare the project plans, updates to Line Manager for weekly meetings.
Define new card products in Card system as fee structure from Retail Banking.
Provide daily statistics to Management on our Cards and Acquiring base.
Attend to POS Acquiring unit merchant visits in case of any technical issues.
Supervise direct reportees in their day-to-day tasks and guide them in managing their performance by providing appropriate feedback and counseling. Provide feedback and escalations to the Manager in case of any exceptions or critical projects.
COMPETENCIES, KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE
Bachelors in Technology ( Electronics Engg)
Masters in Business Administration
10 Years of experience out of which 6 years in Cards Domain and 4 years in IT Service Operations.
Adherence to process, system and schedule
Feedback, motivating, mentoring and coaching
Knowledge of Windows, Linux, Oracle DB
Knowledge in Project Management
Knowledge of terminal certifications (POS),card Personalisation , EMV.
Excellent oral and written communication skills in English
