Job Descriptions
Responsible for achieving the service revenue target of the company.
Manage all service operations throughout the country.
Delegate and direct service tasks; monitor the progress of all current and pending projects.
Develop staff through training and continuing product line education.
Ensure that day to day operations of the service department are performed efficiently, in line with Company and customers expectations.
Analyze repetitive equipment failures, and take corrective action to ensure that the situation does not continue.
Estimate the maintenance costs and evaluation of alternatives & forecasting of spare parts required for the efficient operation of the service department.
Assessing the needs for equipment replacements and establish replacement programs when due.
Assessing required maintenance tools and skills required for the efficient maintenance of equipment.
Promote preventative maintenance as a strategy thus extending the operational life of existing printing equipment and reducing the need for replacement items.
Fosters continual service and product improvement by recommending policy changes and workflow procedural modifications and implementing approved changes.
Meet with customers to discuss and explain maintenance issues to the satisfaction of customers.
Responsible for the stores and warehouse management to ensure maximum efficiency, adherence to safety procedures and assume responsibility for stock levels.
