Summary of Position:
An individual who is able to work in a team to develop ideas, create engaging content and execute communication objectives on various social media channels.
Duties and Responsibilities:
• 3+ years' proven track record in social media-related role.
• Extensive knowledge of and understanding of social media platforms, their respective
participants (FB, Tw, IG, YT etc.) and how each platform can be deployed in different scenarios.
• Demonstrates creativity and documented immersion in social media.
• Proficient in content creation and marketing theory and application.
• Experience sourcing and managing content development and publishing.
• Exhibits the ability to jump from the creative side of marketing to analytical side, able to
demonstrate why their ideas are analytically sound.
• Enjoys a working knowledge of the blogging ecosystem relevant to the company's field
• Displays ability to effectively communicate information and ideas in written and video format.
• Maintains a working knowledge of principles of SEO including keyword research and Google Analytics. Highly knowledgeable in the principles of 'Search and Social'.
• Is a team player with the confidence to take the lead and guide other employees when necessary. (i.e.: content development, creation and editing of content and online reputation management).
• Possesses functional knowledge and/or personal experience with WordPress.
• Demonstrates winning Social Customer Service techniques such as empathy, patience,
advocacy and conflict resolution.
• Possesses great ability to identify potential negative or crisis situation and apply conflict resolution principles to mitigate issues.
• Advertising campaigns.
• Public relations and brand marketing experience.
• Proven working experience in social media or related field.
• Excellent consulting, writing, editing (photo/video/text), presentation and communication skills.
• Demonstrable social networking experience and social analytics tools knowledge.
• Adequate knowledge of web design, web development, knowledge of online marketing and good understanding of major marketing channels.
• Positive attitude, detail and customer oriented with good multitasking and organizational ability.
• Manage social media accounts for multiple brands.
• Monitor conversations and engagement across all social media platforms.
• Develop social media advertising campaigns.
• Be a constant source of fresh and innovative ideas.
• Ensure brands guidelines are respected in all online communications.
• Develop relationships with key and relevant online influencers.
• Be able to photograph, film and edit pictures and videos.
• Language competence: Excellent level of spoken and written English. Arabic is a plus.
• Ability to own projects and meet strict deadlines.
• Manage multiple tasks whilst maintaining an attention to detail at all times.
• Knowledge of Photoshop and video editing tools.
• Enthusiastic attitude and ability to work under pressure.
