Job Summary:

The role holder is responsible for implementing all sales activities, including lead generation, implementation of business marketing and sales plan, achievement of sales targets in alignment with long-term sales goals of the Business Unit. The role holder is also responsible for identifying potential customers, and ensuring they are in line with the strategy of the Business Units

Core Responsibilities:

· Create sales and strategic plan for services and products

· Overseeing new marketing initiatives.

· Provides sales forecasts and ensures that the brand/category function is informed for required actions

· Adheres to sales plan and strategic plan to ensure optimization and profitability of the Business Unit

· Responsible for sales operations, regularly monitors day-to-day operations, including checks on prospective clients, negotiations and the design of competitive sales packages

· Visits customer frequently to sell the software solutions/products – take orders and confirm delivery details

· Records progress of enquiries and creates regular reports.

· Promotes the business to new and existing clients and secures new and repeat business by networking at various sales and corporate events

· Advises customers on forthcoming product developments and discusses special promotions

· Develops a database of qualified leads through referrals, email, and networking; identifies and develop new customer accounts to increase sales

· Prepares documents related to sale and supports contracting activities like purchase agreements, contracts, etc. in coordination with the Chief Technology Officer and Legal department

· Maintains and files all related documents and ensures compliance with regulatory and organizational standards

· Provides customers with clarifications, answers queries, provides requested information and follows-up with customers

· Provides accurate and timely forecasting on a periodic basis, and discusses inefficiencies related to the performance of the sales; prepares sales reports and summaries on a frequent basis

· Evaluates customer and is responsible for applicable background checks to ensure customer falls within the Business Unit’s guidelines

· Ensures all logistics related to sales orders and delivery are in place

· Ensures timely collection of receivables from clients (when applicable)

· Performs other responsibilities and tasks as required or as directed by management from time to time

Self-Management:

· Defines performance goals at the start of the year in discussion with the reporting manager and ensures that the goals are achieved during the course of the year

· Takes ownership of his/her own learning agenda by identifying development needs in consultation with the manager and agreeing on the individual development plan

· Keeps abreast of professional developments, new techniques and current issues through continued education and professional growth

Qualifications & Experience:

. A minimum of 3 years of relevant IT and/or software sales experience in UAE

· Graduate preferably in Sales and Marketing

Additional skills

· Knowledge of any CRM

· Team management skills

· Very good presentation skills

· Knowledge in creating winning proposals

. Customer service orientation

Language skills

· Strong English Mandatory

· Arabic language is a plus
