Job Description :

A multinational pharmaceutical company is actively recruiting for a Supply Chain Specialist (Contractual) to be based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.

Key aspects of the role include:

- Coordinating the order process steps from receipt of Purchase Order from the customer through to the suppliers and ensure a smooth flow through to delivery

- Responsible for verifying orders and contact internal functions in the case of discrepancies

- Serves as the Point of Contact for internal & external customers and suppliers

- Monitoring and reviewing supplier on time delivery and tackle any challenges or late deliveries in order to increase delivery performance

- Managing effective relationships with members of the supply chain and vendors by utilizing key negotiation skills effectively

- Ensuring timely availability of all necessary shipping documents

- Ensuring that all responsibilities and actions are carried out within the framework of safety, quality and compliance

- Providing guidance and support to new team members with regard to the procedures to follow and the specific tasks required to perform the job effectively.

Required Qualifications :
To be successful you will need to meet the following:
- Candidates based in the UAE only will be considered
- Education: Bachelor's Degree
- Willing to work on a contractual basis (1 year)
- At least 2-3 years of relevant experience in customer service/ order management/ supply chain
- Can work independently within guidelines and policies to achieve objectives and meet deadlines
- Experience in handling detailed analysis of high volume and complex business
- Experience in systems such as SAP and Microsoft tools
- Must have excellent analytical and communication skills including written and verbal
