THE POST – Teacher of ICT and Computing (Secondary)
We are seeking to appoint a motivated, highly skilled, enthusiastic and dedicated teacher of ICT and Computing (Grades 6-12) who would work alongside, develop and support a multi-cultural staff team in our continued pursuit of excellence. Our focus is purely on your ability as a practitioner so experience of the Common Core Curriculum we follow is not essential.
Qualifications / Person Specification
A relevant teaching qualification: PGCE/QTS/Teaching Diploma for the age group you will be teaching, and a degree in ICT and Computing;
A minimum of 2 years recent teaching experience
An excellent track record in preparing students for external examinations
An excellent understanding of secondary (Middle School and High School/KS3-5) teaching and learning;
Experience / Understanding of teaching ICT and Computing, particularly for students for whom English is a second language;
Excellent communication skills to lead by example, as well as collaborate with leaders, Senior Management and parents;
Ability to research new initiatives and implement them whilst evaluating current processes.

2 year contract renewable
