ROLE PURPOSE :
The Technical Development Senior Officer is focused on implementing the learning strategy to ensure effective delivery of all designed and developed learning programs and initiatives that will support the skills and performance improvement of identified employees who will be upskilled or developed in new emerging and trending technologies.
Partnering with the technical business leads this role ensures that learning is delivered in line with the technologies that are being introduced to support the technical roadmap and new product releases in the market. They will support the assessment of talent, with a focus on UAE nationals to design future technology programs to ensure a pipeline of qualified and experienced employees to meet business demands in these key technologies.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:
• Responsible for actively engaging with department leaders to ensure that all parties collaborate and design effective technical programs aligned to current business needs.
• Ensure consistency in the delivery and application of learning standards overseeing the planning, prioritization, and development of new learning initiatives.
• Required to plan, organize, and lead learning programs, ensuring proper execution at all levels of the business.
• Monitor to ensure learning is delivered within the approved learning budget.
• Responsible for understanding the current trends in new technologies that are required to deliver new products and services to our clients.
• Analyse the skills, competencies and qualifications needed to deliver new technologies to our current and future clients.
• Identify key resources with skills and competencies that can be transferred through upskilling programs that develop the new skills required within each trending technology.
• Assess to identifying employee skills gaps through a Learning Needs Analysis (LNA) and analyse results in order to identifying appropriate learning paths.
• Responsible for the design, development and delivery of each technical learning initiatives to enhance employee competencies and achieve globally recognized certifications.
• Schedule delivery of all approved learning activities to meet the needs of the target population and ensure business operations are maintained.
• Ensure that delivery follows the approved process and candidates are notified, facilities available, material meets learning objectives and trainer is qualified to deliver.
• Work with third-party providers and partners to deliver cost effective training solutions.
• Use effective presentation techniques to deliver presentations and communicate message to intended audience.
• Support the evaluation and effectiveness of learning interventions to achieve desired results and measure Return on Investment (ROI).
• Identify potential talent within the pool of Emiratis on work experience programs to engage in entry level technical programs in new and emerging technologies.
• Responsible to manage, develop and deliver the Career Plans (CPs) for aligned with their selected career paths to support development within new and emerging technologies.
• Support the delivery of activities to implement Injazat Talent Management for learning initiatives to fast-track development of high potential and critical employees.
• Lead and support sales activities for learning to target existing and new logo clients through direct and indirect marketing.
• Lead and support opportunities to form partnerships with clients/vendors to win new business.
• Participate in Injazat marketing events and campaigns to promote Injazat and Learning portfolio of services to support Injazat revenue targets.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
• Bachelor degree in Human Resources Management, Psychology or Internationally recognised qualification in Talent Development (CIPD, SHRM etc.).
MINIMUM EXPERIENCE:
• 6-8 years relevant experience in Talent Development in a senior role.
JOB SPECIFIC SKILLS:
• Proven history of successfully delivering Talent Development initiatives aligned to the Organisations Goals & Objectives.
• Strong knowledge and experience of developing effective learning program sin new and emerging technologies.
• Demonstrate good leadership and people management skills.
• Strong presentation and public speaking abilities.
• Depth of practical experience in both technical and non-technical learning initiatives.
• Excellent inter-personal skills, verbal, written and active listening.
• Maintains strong values of integrity, commitment, and self-improvement.
• Exceptional planning and organisation experience.
• Ability to handle high levels of stress and manage time.
