The Traffic Manager is the central contact point for all projects that flows through the agency. Once a job has been opened, the Traffic Manager will develop a scheduled timeline and work with the Creative and Business Divisions to get the job done according to the brief and required deliverables, the role includes assigning specific people to the steps required to complete the job and monitors resource requirements, with suggested jobs to be assigned to outside/ freelance staff when needed to control delivery timings with the desired quality. As needed, the Traffic Manager will work with Account Managers to adjust job deadlines while still meeting the Clients needs.
Responsibilities:
Typically, a traffic manager will:

Manage projects on a daily basis along with set schedules

Reporting on project status, workloads and accounts

Provide timely communication between stakeholders including digital, accounts and creative team

Overseeing project resources and assisting with the management of freelance requirements and bookings when needed

Analysing campaign data and outcome to enhance future deliverables with the account managers.

Holding regular production meetings and status updates

Assists upper management in setting goals that promote company growth

Develops plans to increase efficiency

Ensures customer requirements are met in a timely manner

Keeping employees motivated and suggest appropriate training

Ensure the business operates within the company's objectives and goals

Work with division heads and seniors to get the best performance from staff

Is notified and creates schedules that will ensure that the work will be completed within the client s deadlines while allowing ample time to get the work done to the expectations of the client

Review daily work loads with production manager/ creative/ art production department and adjusts assignments as needed making sure that the appropriate talent is used and workloads are evenly maintained

Make adjustments to each job schedule and overall workload as job demands change.

Makes sure each staff member knows the assignments that they need to complete and the due dates. Acts as a mediator between all Account Service members to establish and re-evaluate priorities

Constant contact with all divisions regarding current deadline status and any issues that may need client or agency attention

Coordinate with the Creative Manager on all outsourced requirements and the scheduling and delivery of those resources
Requirements:

Proven project and account management experience

Solid knowledge of digital advertising platforms

Solid experience with CRM software and MS Office (particularly MS Excel)

Resourcing experience with high volume traffic projects

Adept at briefing creative teams and reporting into clients

Skilled at working under pressure
