We are seeking a Training & Development (T&D) Researcher to join the Training & Research Advisory Group (TR&AG) in the Program Development & Evaluation Division (PD&ED), part of the Saudi Aramco T&D organization.
PD&ED is responsible for providing and developing performance-based world-class learning solutions that sustain the evolving Saudi workforce.
Your primary role will be to conduct research on the TR&AG's core functions: innovation; new-program research; enhancement of existing programs; technology integration; and operational-processes research.
As the successful candidate you will hold a Bachelor of Arts or Bachelor of Science degree in Education, Mathematics, Engineering, Physical Sciences, or a Technical/Trade/Vocational discipline.
You will have a minimum of 6 years of work experience, including 3 years of special field experience in instructional design, teaching, or vocational training.
You will demonstrate experience in instructional design, including development of classroom-based learning, e-/m-learning, and blended learning solutions for a technical workforce.
A Master of Science Degree or Ph.D. degree, in a field aligned with the mentioned TR&AG core functions, is preferable.
Duties & Responsibilities:
You will be required to perform the following:
Perform research and analysis activities, such as training quality assurance assessments, analysis of Saudi Aramco jobs, target population studies, and test reliability and validity assessments.
Participate in the preparation of the technical scope of work, technical bid evaluation, and contract negotiation.
Maintain quality control for contracted services.
Prepare and/or deliver presentations for corporate-level briefings and reports.
Lead project and organizational teams by conducting needs analyses, selecting learning approaches, designing curriculums, programs, assessments, and other learning solutions.
Perform comprehensive review of assessments before signing off on blueprints and final versions.
Provide consultation on proposed program policy changes, including the evaluation of current activities.
Conduct benchmarking studies with similar national and international organizations, and perform other duties as assigned.
