Leads the daily operations of the Training Equipment Set (TES) in support of the Kuwait Base Operations & Security Support Services (K-BOSSS) contract. The TES Lead provides technical and operation guidance, and supervision to a multi-national Maintenance/Supply workforce and is responsible for the accountability and status of all equipment assigned to the TES Operation Fleet. The TES Lead is charged with responsibility of tracking the operational readiness and availability of the assigned commodity equipment. The TES Lead assumes the responsibilities of the TES Supervisor in his/her absence.

Performs the duties of the TES Supervisor in his/her absence.
Conducts planning and scheduling of maintenance and Services for all equipment assigned to the TES. This include Weapons, Communications Equipment and Various Other Types of Tactical Military Equipment.
Performs/supervises fleet issues/turn-ins and ensures complete accountability of required and staged items sourced.
Monitors work orders/production on all assigned equipment requiring corrective action.
Responsible for the tracking of equipment services, OMCS, administrative services and unscheduled maintenance.
Ensures daily reporting is annotated with current and updated information.
Maintains physical security, supply and maintenance management operations as it pertains to assigned equipment.
Maintains the standards of fleet Operational Readiness Reporting; ensures accuracy and timeliness for equipment readiness reporting.
Performs sensitive/controlled items inventories.
Utilizes Global Combat Support System-Army (GCSS-A) to perform maintenance management/STAMIS related functions.
Maintains and account for recoverable items to ensure compliance with exchange pricing (EP)/recoverable items program.
Maintains Bench stock/ Shop Stock in accordance with applicable regulations.
Prepare and submit Transportation Movement Requests (TMR).
Familiar with the Army Logistics Readiness and Sustainability Program.
Provides guidance personnel engaged in maintenance operations, vehicle recovery, and supply operations.
Performs vehicle dispatching operations.
Determines the causes of equipment readiness deficiencies, take corrective action within their areas of responsibility, and provides feedback on systemic readiness problems.
Adheres to K-BOSSS Performance Work Statement and enforces standards within the work area.
Provides reports on safety, quality, supply and maintenance issues.
Performs routine inspections on internal sections.
Performs environmental control duties.
Prepares and present/submit reports and briefings to management or for external agencies as required.
Performs other duties as assigned.
MATERIAL & EQUIPMENT DIRECTLY USED:
Mechanic’s hand tools, shop tools, multi-meter, gauges, jack stands, and other forms of TMDE. Electronic computers, printers, and other forms of office equipment. Common Access Card (CAC).
Work is generally conducted in a shop environment. However, duties may involve the conduct of work in the out-of-doors area with a potential exposure to extreme climatic conditions/ambient temperatures.
Work may require heavy lifting up, stooping, climbing, prolonged standing, prolonged sitting, and working with or in areas where a potential could exist for exposure to physical, chemical or biological agents. Employee use of personal protective equipment (PPE) is required for some situations. PPE includes but is not limited to head, foot, torso, respiratory, vision, and hearing protective devices. Must comply with all Fire and Safety Regulations and post policies.
