Job Description
The FPP Category Manager is responsible for the end to end business management of all strategic high value products in GCC for both consumer (Retail) and customer (Food Service) targets. The portfolio they manage represents the focus products for BRF with big growth potential as outlined in the Strategic Planning process and bring BRF disproportionate revenue and profitability over volume.
• Translate Strategic Planning process into sound and compelling strategy for the yearly planning process (PO) with full alignment across departments and responsibility over Category level PnL
• Set clear regional Category action plans (3M horizon) based on diagnosis provided by Performance Management (internal data) and Intelligence & Insights Marketing (external data)
• Set portfolio play guidelines (mix, price positioning, marketing calendar ) to ensuring key marketing strategic focus areas are embedded within sales plan
• Recommend corrective actions on local execution of Category plans based on performance diagnosis (1M horizon), cascaded down to local Commercial and local Trade Marketing
• Own regional activation waves, delivers implementation toolkits, designs promotional menu (Depth, timing & intensity) and owns Trade Marketing execution budget
• Define basic portfolio gaps across relevant categories, channels and geographies and lead Stage Gate process for such products developments
• Design plans to maximize utilization of supply footprint and optimize production costs
• Work cross-functionally to deliver business plans, primarily with BDM, S&OP and the commercial teams to ensure the right product is available consistently and sold through the right channels at the right mix/price on a day-to-day basis
• Ensuring achievement of business KPIs (volume, revenue & consumption) thorough monthly/quarterly diagnostics (insights, share data, competitor activities, market dynamics) and development of action plans to correct deviations from the targets.

Academic Background
Bachelor s in Business Management or related, preferably master s or MBA
Desirable requirements
• Fluent in English;
• Portuguese is a plus;
• Arabic is a plus but not mandatory

• Commercial acumen (Ability to understand business performance and connect the dots on a total business level)
• Supply Chain knowledge (Budget, quarterly demand, production plan, sales adherence)
• Operational strength (Ability to work the day-to-day operations)
• Analytical skills (P&L and market intelligence reports analytics)
• Strong interpersonal skills ability to work cross-functionally smoothly and establish strong relationships with peers inside and outside of marketing
• Ability to multitask and manage multiple projects & timely delivery effectively
• Project management
• Willingness to travel
• Experience in team management

Experience
More than 7 years of experience in the FMCG sector, preferably from Sales / Marketing background
