Key Responsibilities:
• Support Honeywell's business development and sales efforts to sell Products, Solutions and Services to this vertical market
• Assist in creation of market approach strategy which enable HBT META growth
• Communicate to leadership on a regular basis and maintain records of: pipeline /opportunity status (including RFIs/RFQs/RFPs), forecasting activity, and other information as requested.
• This position will be goaled and measured on HBT META: Pipeline growth, (RFIs/RFQs/RFPs Growth), pipeline conversion and Honeywell content pull-through.
• Ensure highest conversion rate from Qualifies pipeline to actual product or projects award
• You will maintain, and provide reports and opportunity status using our customer relationship management system.
• Drive business growth by discovering and building new opportunities, clients, and customers
• Identify, influence, qualify and develop new opportunities while defining a One HBT value proposition for selected verticals by utilizing specialist industry experience, deep market understanding, and senior relationships with Customers and Partners
• Develop and qualify list of regional sales opportunities.
• Develop and execute sales and pursuit strategies; working with support team, SBU management, and key partners t develop project execution plans for key Smart Cities pursuits
• Build relationships with local account managers, sales and regional management and other HBT META functional groups, as well as alliance partners and key suppliers
• Provide experienced technical input to the proposals team on key bids
• Support development of technology roadmap, working in conjunction with Honeywell product marketing and technology development resources
• Act as focal point of accountability for key tactical pursuits and coordination of resources. This will be done in close coordination with local SBU management
• Support marketing efforts, including trade shows, publications and industry specific advertising
• Provide other support as needed to drive sales across HBT META
• Support HBT GBE's commercial teams to enable winning vertical initiated opportunities
• Work closely with GBE commercial teams to devise the best approach to achieve and drive a winning strategy
• Work closely with GBE leadership and commercial teams to ensure alignment and avoid duplication of efforts
Will require travel to Honeywell and customer sites and to work with the local Honeywell and non-Honeywell organizations in META region
YOU MUST HAVE
• At least 10 years of experience in sales and business development
• Experience in Smart cities in Saudi Arabia
• Experienced sales people manager with strong leadership skills
• Bachelor's degree, or equivalent, Engineering degree would be advantageous
WE VALUE
• A proficient understanding of key sales principles and best practices
• Some prior experience of refrigerants would be a highly desired
• Excellent team and communication skills
• An ability to take initiative and work with limited direction
• An ability to influence across a broader organization
• An ability to influence customers, while maintaining healthy relationships
