Job description
The Warehouse Manager plans, directs and evaluates the daily workflow of activities in the centralized warehouse and distribution facility.
The main purposes for this job are:
• Manage stock control, storage, retrieval and timely delivery of good and shipment loading/transferring and prepare periodic reports.
• Direct the receipt, inspection, storage, cataloguing, inventorying and distribution of stock commodities while adhering to the set regulations
• Monitor and follow the consumables and stationary process on item levels
• Contribute to achievement of special events by planning and coordinating with concerned departments the needed materials and ensuring proper delivery from the warehouse including markdown events, in-store promotions
• Prepare yearly warehouse budget and monitor on a monthly basis the forecast vs. actual budget and reconcile accordingly
• Execute replenishment activities ensuring top seller merchandise are ready for trade in order to volumize sales
• Train , motivate and evaluate his / her team to ensure that the department has the necessary skill base and that staff are optimally motivated and enabled to maximize their potential
Skills and Experience
The successful candidate should possess the following:
• Excellent communication skills are required, including both verbal and written presentational skills as well as good leadership qualities
• Experience in the supervision and coordination of customer service (front-end) activities, including customer complaints handling and personnel shift management, matured by working for large retailers
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office and relevant industry standard software
• Proficiency in English is essential. Arabic is an advantage
