Job Description
Animal Care Apprentice MAF Entertainment Majid Al Futtaim Dubai, UAEbr>
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in daily animal care routines, including feeding, training, and behavior observation.
- Support animal encounters, ensuring safety protocols are followed for both animals and guests.
- Maintain and clean animal habitats, ensuring optimal living conditions and presentation standards.
- Prepare and portion animal diets as instructed by senior caretakers.
- Monitor and report inventory levels of food, tools, and cleaning materials.
- Participate in educational talks and public presentations to enhance guest understanding of wildlife and conservation.
- Uphold the highest standards of animal welfare, hygiene, and guest engagement.

Ideal Profile
- Certificate or diploma in Animal Care or related field; practical animal handling experience preferred.
- Excellent verbal communication skills with the confidence to interact with guests.
- Physically fit, capable of handling labor-intensive tasks and working in cold environments.
- Basic understanding of animal behavior, safety, and care procedures.
- Knowledge of Life Support Systems (LSS) is an advantage.
- Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel for recordkeeping and documentation.
