Assistant Manager Accounting and Reporting Advisory

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct in-depth research on IFRS and local GAAP accounting issues, providing technical insights and recommendations.
• Prepare detailed technical reports, memos, and presentations on accounting and reporting matters.
• Lead and deliver advisory engagements including preparation of financial statements, IFRS conversion, and accounting policy design.
• Develop accounting policies for revenue recognition, leasing, and complex transactions under IFRS and other frameworks.
• Support client proposals and scope development, including budgeting and project planning.
• Collaborate with senior managers, partners, and clients to balance strategic objectives, risks, and stakeholder expectations.
• Educate clients on new accounting standards and their impact on financial reporting systems.
• Oversee project planning, resource allocation, and coordination for both local and international engagements.
• Manage advisory projects related to complex accounting issues, acquisitions, and IFRS impact assessments.
• Ensure compliance with Deloitte s quality standards and maintain thorough documentation for audit and advisory work.

Candidate Requirements

• Bachelor s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or Business Administration with strong academic performance.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in public accounting, audit, or technical accounting advisory.
• Proven experience with IFRS, financial reporting, and financial statement preparation.
• Strong analytical, project management, and technical writing skills.
• Ability to communicate complex accounting concepts clearly and effectively.
• Experience in financial close processes, financial controls, and structuring accounting matters.
• Proficient in managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong presentation and interpersonal skills with an ability to collaborate across teams.
• Fluent in English (reading, speaking, and writing).
