Position Overview
Apparel Group Dubai is seeking an Assistant Manager Accounts and Finance to support strategic and operational financial functions across the organization. The role involves managing accounting operations, preparing financial reports, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, and assisting in budgeting, forecasting, and audit coordination. Key Responsibilities

* Assist in preparing accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow reports
* Supervise daily accounting operations such as accounts payable, receivable, payroll, and general ledger activities
* Support the development and implementation of internal controls and compliance measures to protect financial integrity
* Contribute to annual budget preparation, financial forecasting, and cost management initiatives
* Monitor performance against budget and provide detailed variance analyses to management
* Coordinate with external auditors to ensure timely completion of statutory audits and adherence to financial regulations
* Support financial planning and analysis to guide business decisions and identify efficiency opportunities
* Monitor cash flow, bank relationships, and liquidity to ensure operational funding requirements are met
* Oversee tax compliance and adherence to local and international accounting standards (IFRS/GAAP)
* Mentor and support junior finance team members in daily operations and reporting accuracy
* Collaborate cross-functionally with operations, HR, and supply chain teams to align financial goals with business strategies
* Contribute to special financial projects, ERP enhancements, and process improvement initiatives

Ideal Profile

* Bachelor s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CA, CMA, or MBA Finance preferred)
* Minimum 5 years of experience in accounting and finance, ideally within retail or corporate environments
* Proficiency in ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, or similar accounting software
* Strong understanding of IFRS, GAAP, and local tax regulations
* Excellent analytical, reporting, and problem-solving skills
* Attention to detail, accuracy, and the ability to manage multiple deadlines
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills for team collaboration
