Key Responsibilities
- Assist senior mechanical and MEP engineers with system design and layout preparation.
- Support the preparation of equipment schedules and technical documentation under supervision.
- Coordinate with electrical, civil, and structural engineers to ensure design integration and accuracy.
- Assist CAD and drafting teams with drawing preparation and design updates.
- Prepare basic engineering computations, material quantity takeoffs, and cost estimates.
- Conduct site visits and inspections as needed to collect design data.
- Assist in reviewing specifications, design standards, and engineering reports.
- Ensure project deliverables comply with client and Parsons quality standards.
- Support project documentation, reporting, and internal coordination tasks.

Parsons Corporation is seeking a motivated Associate Mechanical Engineer (UAE National) to join its MEP design team in Dubai. This entry-level position provides an opportunity for Emirati engineers to gain hands-on experience in mechanical design and project coordination across large-scale infrastructure and building projects. The role offers professional mentorship, career development, and exposure to multidisciplinary engineering environments.
Ideal Profile
- Bachelor s degree in Mechanical Engineering from an accredited institution.
- Fresh graduates or up to 1 year of relevant experience.
- Basic knowledge of mechanical systems, HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection design principles.
- Familiarity with AutoCAD, Revit, and other design or engineering software.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks.
- Good analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Fluent in English; knowledge of Arabic is an advantage.
- Must be a UAE National with a valid family book.
