Key Responsibilities

• Stakeholder Management: Collaborate with portfolio managers, operations, compliance, and finance teams to gather, analyze, and validate business requirements.
• Business Analysis: Document workflows for portfolio management, trading, settlement, corporate actions, and reporting, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
• System Configuration: Perform hands-on parameterization and configuration of Avaloq modules, tailoring solutions to Wealth & Asset Management needs.
• Integration Oversight: Coordinate integration projects with external systems (trading platforms, custodians, risk engines, compliance tools) using APIs, FIX, and SWIFT messaging.
• Project Delivery: Lead UAT, training sessions, and change management initiatives, ensuring smooth adoption of new functionalities.
• Process Expertise: Provide deep functional insights into fund accounting, reconciliation, corporate actions, and regulatory reporting.
• Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities to streamline workflows, enhance reporting accuracy, and improve operational efficiency.

Required Skills & Experience

• 12+ years of techno-functional experience with Avaloq Banking Suite in Wealth & Asset Management.
• Hands-on expertise in Avaloq parameterization, APL scripting, and PL/SQL.
• Strong functional knowledge of portfolio accounting, fund administration, reconciliation, and compliance processes.
• Familiarity with financial instruments: equities, fixed income, derivatives, FX.
• Technical understanding of Oracle databases, APIs, FIX protocol, and SWIFT messaging (to collaborate effectively with technical teams).
• Proven ability to translate business requirements into system solutions.
• Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and project management skills.
