الأدوار والمسؤوليات
- Safely operate the bus by adhering to all traffic laws, ensuring the safety of passengers and other road users.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to identify and report any mechanical issues or safety concerns.
- Assist passengers with boarding and disembarking, ensuring that those with disabilities or special needs receive appropriate support.
- Maintain a punctual schedule while managing time effectively to accommodate traffic conditions and unforeseen delays.
- Keep accurate records of passenger counts, routes, and any incidents that occur during trips.
- Educate passengers on safety protocols, including the use of seat belts and emergency exits.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers and other drivers to relay important information and updates.
- Maintain a clean and comfortable bus environment by performing regular cleaning and upkeep.
- Resolve conflicts or issues with passengers calmly and professionally to ensure a positive travel experience.
- Stay informed about route changes, detours, and local events that may affect bus operations.
الملف الشخصي المطلوب للمرشحين
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification in transportation or logistics is a plus.
- A valid commercial driver's license (CDL), with endorsements for passenger transport.
- At least 2 years of experience driving large vehicles, preferably in a public transportation setting.
- Proficiency in using GPS and navigation systems to ensure efficient route planning.
- Strong communication skills to interact positively with passengers and address their concerns.
- Ability to remain calm and composed under pressure, especially in traffic or emergency situations.
- Physical stamina to assist passengers and perform routine vehicle inspections effectively.
- Knowledge of local traffic laws and regulations to ensure compliance and safety.
- Bilingual abilities in English and another language are preferred for diverse passenger needs.
