What are the key challenges of Gulf jobseekers?

Job search can be a taxing process at times and to better understand the problems faced by jobseekers Naukrigulf.com ran a poll on their website, app and social media.

The study done with a broad cross section of aspirants revealed that the biggest issue faced by jobseekers in their job hunt journey is finding openings that match their skills and experience. About two-thirds of the 2000+ respondents pointed this out.

Interviews and negotiating salary were the next big challenges identified. Finding a preferred location for the new assignment came in at the number three position among the challenges faced by the online community of jobseekers with about 9% of the respondents mentioning it.

Competition with other candidates while applying for a job was another tricky area, which gained roughly 7% traction on the poll.

At least 7% of respondents also said that the application process, that is, filling out forms, submitting documents, etc was a task they found challenging.
