Job Description
Position Overview
This Category Lead F and B role at Majid Al Futtaim Dubai leads the sourcing strategy, supplier management, and procurement operations for food and beverage categories across multiple operating companies. The role drives strategic procurement initiatives, cost optimization, spend analysis, and digital sourcing excellence while ensuring alignment with Dubai-based strategic plans.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and deliver the procurement strategic roadmap and annual budget for F and B categories in coordination with business stakeholders and procurement leadership.
- Create and implement sourcing strategies aligned with business objectives, legal guidelines, and internal policies.
- Lead sourcing activities for new projects, ensuring timely achievement of milestones and development timelines.
- Identify opportunities for consolidation, standardization, and optimization to improve overall cost efficiency.
- Analyze supplier proposals and evaluate total cost of ownership for accurate decision-making.
- Conduct spend analysis, interpret cost drivers, and identify improvement opportunities across operating companies.
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders across OpCos and support development of digital procurement platforms aligned with set KPIs and SLAs.

Ideal Profile
- 7 10 years of experience in a similar sourcing or category management role, with at least 10 years in procurement.
- Experience in procurement within Shared Services environments is an advantage.
- Strong background in spend analysis, strategy development, and category optimization.
- Extensive knowledge of procurement processes, systems, and best practices.
- Ability to assess legal, commercial, and operational risks in supplier contracts.
- Hands-on experience with e-sourcing platforms and ERPs such as Oracle, SAP, or Coupa.
