Site Supervision & Execution

• Technical Oversight: Act as the primary technical point of contact for all interior civil works (e.g., blockwork, plastering, tiling, flooring, ceiling, final finishes).
• Work Inspection: Conduct regular and thorough site inspections to ensure that work is being executed according to the approved architectural, structural, and interior design drawings and specifications.
• Coordination: Coordinate daily activities and workflow between the fit-out teams, subcontractors, and other trades (MEP, specialized vendors) to prevent delays and clashes.
• Material Management: Verify the quality, quantity, and storage of civil construction materials delivered to the site, ensuring they match the approved submittals.

Quality Control (QC) & Compliance

• Quality Assurance: Prepare and submit Inspection Request (IR) forms for all fit-out activities and follow up with the consultant/client for necessary approvals.
• Drawing Management: Ensure the latest approved design drawings (including shop drawings) are used by all site personnel. Flag and resolve discrepancies between architectural, structural, and MEP drawings on-site.
• Authority Compliance: Ensure all civil and finishing works strictly comply with the building codes and safety regulations of relevant UAE authorities (e.g., DM, Civil Defence).
• Testing: Oversee and document all required quality tests for materials and installations (e.g., water tightness tests for wet areas, pull-out tests).

Planning, Reporting & Documentation

• Progress Monitoring: Track and report daily/weekly progress against the project schedule. Identify potential delays and propose corrective action plans to the Project Manager.
• Documentation: Maintain a comprehensive file of all project documentation, including inspection reports, method statements, material submittals, correspondence, and as-built drawings for civil works.
• Resource Allocation: Assist the Project Manager in planning and optimizing the deployment of manpower, machinery, and resources for the fit-out phase.

Health, Safety & Environment (HSE)

• Ensure strict adherence to company and project HSE policies, particularly concerning the fit-out environment (e.g., working at height, fire prevention, material handling).
• Conduct daily tool-box talks (TBT) and maintain a safe working environment on the fit-out site.
