CIvil Foreman/Site Supervisor Oman Construction

A. Execution & Site Management Supervise all site activities for box culverts, headwalls, wing walls, aprons, and channels. Ensure work is carried out according to approved drawings, method statements, specifications, ITPs, and project schedule. Coordinate daily tasks with masons, steel fixers, carpenters, operators, and laborers. Plan and sequence activities such as excavation, blinding, formwork, steel fixing, concrete pouring, curing and waterproofing. Monitor proper installation of waterstops, reinforcement laps, spacers, chamfers, cover blocks, and formwork alignment. Verify levels, slopes, and line of culvert sections.

B. Safety & Compliance Ensure 100% compliance with HSE rules, toolbox talks, and permit-to-work requirements. Inspect working platforms, excavation safety (shoring, access, barriers), lifting activities, and hot works. Report and stop unsafe acts/conditions.

C. Quality Control Check dimension, alignment, embedment, and concrete quality prior to inspection. Coordinate work inspections (MIR/RFI) with QA/QC and Client/Consultant. Ensure curing procedures, formwork removal timelines, and concrete protection requirements are followed.

D. Coordination & Communication Prepare daily work plans and allocate manpower, materials, and tools. Attend coordination meetings with site engineer.

E. Documentation Prepare daily progress reports (DPR). Maintain records of manpower, materials used, equipment, and daily activities. Sign timesheets and verify labor productivity. Assist in preparation of method statements, checklists, and as-built information.
